out & about : spring 2015
I’ll be hitting the road a bit this spring – you can find my schedule below. If you’ll be at any of these events, I hope you’ll find me to say hi and chat!
- January 30 – Feb 2 / ALA Midwinter, Chicago IL – stop by and chat on Saturday at Check Out A Librarian; or, I’m supporting Joe Janes for ALA President, so come by the table Sunday around 3:30p!
- February 25 – 26 / Designing for Digital, Austin TX – I’ll be giving a workshop (Designing for Users First: Creating the User-Centered library) and doing a session (The Great Website Redesign Balancing Act: Walking the Tightrope from Idea to Launch) with colleague Rick Cecil from Bluespark Labs. An exciting new UX-focused library event … really excited to be part of it.
- March 18 / Library Technology Conference, Minneapolis MN – I’m honored to be the opening keynote! Looking so forward to it.
- March 25 – 28 / ACRL National Conference, Portland OR – Come see me & Heidi Steiner Burkhardt throw down about UX culture at our session UX for the People: Empowering Patrons and Front-line Staff through a User-centered Culture on Thursday at 3p!
